Earth Week is about to kick off officially, and there’s A LOT happening around Wisconsin! 350 Wisconsin will be at the events labeled with an asterisk (*) – stop by and say hi!

  • *Monday, 4/21 – Tuesday 4/29: UW-Madison EarthFest. Check out the schedule for a list of exciting events, including the Earth Field Day on Friday 4/25, featuring our very own Art Collective!
  • *Tuesday, 4/22: Madison Earth Day Parade, 3-7 PM. Join 350 Wisconsin, Sierra Club Wisconsin, and other allies for a parade around the Capitol, followed by speakers, artivism, and more!
  • *Tuesday, 4/22: Earth Day Sustainability Fair, 3-7 PM at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. Explore this year’s theme, “Go Green, Save Green,” and connect with eco-artists, vendors, and fellow community members focused on our planet’s wellbeing. This year’s focus is off-grid energy solutions and practical ways to save energy costs. Enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, engaging discussions and talks, kids activities, and interactive activities – perfect for the whole family.
  • Tuesday, 4/22: Earth Day Equity: Air Quality in Beloit Panel, 5-7 PM at the Beloit Public Library. A 2024 international report identified Beloit, WI as having the worst air quality in the US for a city of its size. A panel will discuss the factors contributing to the city’s air pollution, a citizen science initiative aimed at monitoring it, how solar power could help alleviate this and the city’s plans to address the problem. Co-Sponsored by the Couillard Solar Foundation, the Beloit chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and Healthy Climate Wisconsin.
  • *Wednesday, 4/23: UWSP EENA EcoFair, 10 AM – 3 PM in Stevens Point. This year’s theme is “Stories of the Earth”. Check out the UWSP clubs and community organizations tabling, engage in activities, and listen to speakers share their story of the earth!
  • *Saturday, 4/26: Sustain Jefferson Earth Day Festival, 9 AM – 1 PM. This free event in Jefferson, WI will feature hands-on kids activities, nature and sustainability exhibits, a clothing swap, and free water testing.
  • *Saturday, 4/26: Earth Day Every Day Sustainability Fair, 10 AM – 2 PM. This family-friendly event at the Middleton Community Church will feature music, activities, an EV show, and exhibits.
  • *Saturday, 4/26: Annual Earth Day tree planting, 10 AM in Wausau. Hosted by CCL-Rib Mountain Chapter and NAOMI, we will be planting a tree on behalf of 350 WI. After planting trees, we will form a Talking Circle to express our environmental concerns and to celebrate our own amazing diversity.
