On June 22, 2018, 350 Madison took action to build awareness about Chase Bank’s role in funding fossil fuels. We don’t have millions to buy ad space, so we used some of the assets we do possess. Volunteer power. The public square. Sidewalk chalk. Messages exposing Chase Bank’s role in the climate crisis.

We chose a Friday evening because the next morning the area would fill with thousands of people on their way to the Dane County Farmers’ Market. That morning, we leafleted outside the bank.
