To change everything, it takes everyone!

Sign up for our mailing list! Volunteer!

We are an unstoppable movement of everyday people from diverse communities around Wisconsin, working together for justice and an end to the climate crisis. We challenge government, community, and business leaders to rapidly implement the far-reaching changes and solutions we need.

We’d love to have you join us in fighting for a livable planet! It will take every one of us, and there’s an important role to play, whatever your skills, whatever your interests, whatever amount of time you have.

  • Sign up for our mailing list! You’ll receive the monthly 350 Wisconsin newsletter, along with emails about our events, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Donate! Donating is an important way to get involved, since donations from our supporters enable us to carry out our important climate work. By donating, you will become a member of 350 Wisconsin and eligible to vote for our Board of Directors and Coordinating Council.
  • Volunteer! Click here to indicate how you’d like to get involved; contact our volunteer coordinator at nikki.darga@350wisconsin.org; or scroll down to learn more about our teams and currently open volunteer positions.
  • Attend our monthly meetings (typically the first Monday of each month).
  • “Like” our Facebook page and follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
  • Find out about our Internship Program.

350 Wisconsin relies on two types of teams to accomplish our mission. Campaign teams work on core advocacy goals, while operations teams support the campaigns. See something you’d be good at or something you’d like to learn how to do? Fill out this form to let us know your interests, and we’ll schedule a time to talk about how you can best contribute.

Campaign Teams

Art Collective

The Art Collective is a group of fun-loving people, passionate about averting the climate crisis through the use of creative, humorous, and artistic means. You don’t have to be an artist to join us! We can use help in all sorts of roles — there’s a place for everyone.

Climate Justice

The Climate Justice Team is responsible for elevating climate and racial justice as a priority within 350 Wisconsin, raising the awareness of our leaders and members regarding systemic racism and actions they can take to fight racism in both the climate movement and their personal lives, and supporting BIPOC-led organizations in their work to achieve social and climate justice goals.

Community Climate Solutions

350 Wisconsin’s Community Climate Solutions Team (CCST) creates a livable climate for all by:

  • Helping our region’s governments and institutions set and achieve just, equitable climate goals as fast as possible; and
  • Increasing climate awareness, engagement, and action among the citizens and residents of our region.

We’re already achieving significant results — see CCST Action Highlights for an overview — and with your help, we can do much more.
Meetings: Third Thursdays, 5:00–6:00 pm
Contact: Susan Millar, Susan.Millar@350wisconsin.org; Rachel Robillar, RachelEBRobillard@gmail.com; Maddie Loeffler, maddie.loeffler@350wisconsin.org (For a complete schedule of various team meetings of CCST, click here.)

Regenerative Land Relations

The Regenerative Land Relations team believes in restoring our relationships to the lands and waters around us to be something mutually beneficial, rather than viewing them as resources to be used and exploited. We use education, outreach, and advocacy to protect and restore local ecosystems, allowing them to retain and sequester carbon dioxide. We aim to make Wisconsin a model in showcasing the major positive impacts that regenerative agriculture, urban sprawl reduction, agrivoltaics, and other climate-friendly and equitable land management practices can have.
Meetings: Second Tuesdays, 6:30 pm
Contact: Kathleen Fitzgibbons, kathleen.fitzgibbon@350wisconsin.org

State Policy Team

The State Policy Team promotes strong, progressive state climate policy. This state-level work complements our rapidly expanding efforts to support local governments in transitioning to renewable energy. Particular areas of focus include building code reform, renewable energy infrastructure, climate justice, and green workforce development.

Tar Sands

The Tar Sands Team is fighting Enbridge tar sands pipelines in Wisconsin. Our aims are to stop the proposed expansion of Enbridge’s Line 5 oil pipeline in northern Wisconsin and achieve the shutdown of the entire Line 5, and to halt plans for a Line 66 in the Line 61 corridor. We support efforts led by those most impacted, including tribes, landowners, and affected community members.
Meetings: First Mondays, 5:30–6:30 pm

 Britnie Remer, britnie.remer@350wisconsin.org

Operations Teams

Communication Action

The Communication Action Team (CAT) provides communication support to the campaigns. CAT services encompass website and social media, press releases, letters to the editor and op-eds, radio spots and podcasts, email blasts, and photography and video. CAT especially needs new volunteers with an interest in social media and/or expertise in video and graphic arts.
Meetings: Third Mondays, 7:00–8:30 pm
Contact: Emily Park, Emily.Park@350wisconsin.org

Fundraising

The Fundraising Team seeks funds to support our campaign and operations teams and to achieve 350 Wisconsin’s strategic planning goals. We run donor drives, plan special events, and research and write grant applications.
Meetings: Third Wednesdays, 7:00–8:00 pm
Contact: Kristen Clark, kristen.clark@350wisconsin.org

Monthly Meeting

The Monthly Meeting Team plans and implements 350 Wisconsin’s monthly public meetings by identifying speakers and coordinates announcements and agendas. The team especially needs new members with experience operating AV equipment.
