Current opportunities

Below are some of the internships we have available. Please send a résumé and cover letter to our volunteer coordinator at nikki.darga@350wisconsin.org or simply email her if you have further questions about the positions.

350 Wisconsin’s Community Climate Solutions Team (CCST) creates a livable climate for all by:

  • Helping Wisconsin’s local governments and other institutions set and achieve just, equitable climate goals as fast as possible;
  • Helping Wisconsin’s residents increase their climate awareness, engagement, and action.

The Community Working Groups (CWGs) of the Community Climate Solutions Team (CCST) are seeking energetic, responsible interns to join our growing team. As an intern, you will learn the nuts and bolts of how the CCST is navigating the logistical, policy and leadership challenges of moving from 20th-century energy use practices toward net-zero 21st-century practices. You will work with whichever CWG best aligns with your interests. Roles will include, but not be limited to: conducting research on emissions reduction strategies used by cities, counties, and states; participating in creating content about local and state-level climate topics (blog posts, podcasts, infographics, writing about climate topics, potentially video); analyzing and publicizing CCST-created resources; helping develop networking software; and helping with organizational logistics.

You will work closely with a supervisor, meet weekly with a CCST co-lead and the other interns, and join the set of interns who already have gone on to excellent new positions in the emerging sustainability workforce. The internship includes a stipend.

To apply, please provide a resume and cover letter to Nikki Darga at nikki.darga@350wisconsin.org.
